Description of tasks:
- to determine the influence of infection of secretory mammary gland tissue of dairy cows (parenchyma) with coagulase-negative or -positive staphylococci on the changes in the level of gene expression, methylation of selected genes and microRNA transcripts. The association between the methylation level of individual genes and expression patterns of microRNA with gene expression at the mRNA and protein will be established. This study will be a continuation of the earlier analysis of transcriptomic profile.

Duties for the post post-doc position:
- Isolation of DNA, RNA and protein from tissues
- PCR and real-time PCR
